The Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch (MHAODB)  is offering two health consumer and carer representatives a unique opportunity to participate across two roles for the Integrated Journey Boards project. This project aims to create a digital consumer Journey Board for mental health and alcohol and other drug services. The roles are across:

  1. The Journey Board Project Board
  2. The Working Group

 The successful consumer and/or carer representatives will ideally sit on both the Board and the working group.

A Journey Board is a visual communication tool that displays information about the consumer’s “journey” in the health service that allows clinicians to quickly and easily identify where the consumer is and their next steps of care. The aim of the proposed Journey Board will be to track and monitor the consumer’s end-to-end care journey, mitigating risks associated with any transfers of care (emergency, acute inpatient, community care and residential).

The Journey Board project board and working group will provide clinical and business expertise, direction and advice to ensure the proposed Journey Board solution meets the needs and expectations of future users.
