Expressions of interest close 5pm Thursday 28 September
Healthcare has a significant impact on the environment and the changing climate. The building of new infrastructure, the way buildings are operated, travel and transport, medicines and gases, waste, and the supply chain’s carbon footprint are just a few examples of ways our healthcare system contributes to climate change and pollution.
Queensland Clinical Senate is examining this topic in detail at its November meeting.
Health Consumers Queensland invites you to express your interest in attending the 2023 in-person Queensland Clinical Senate.
Dates: Thursday 9 November (5pm-9pm) & Friday 10 November (9am-4pm)

We have two opportunities for consumers to be involved in this meeting:
1. Be a part of the working group to help shape the topic and event

What is the Queensland Clinical Senate?
The Queensland Clinical Senate represents clinicians from across the health system and provides strategic advice and leadership on system-wide issues affecting the quality, affordability and efficient delivery of patient care within Queensland. We connect clinicians to improve care. We share our collective knowledge to consider strategic clinical issues and make recommendations to Queensland Health about how to deliver the best care to Queenslanders.
What is a Senate meeting like?
Senate meetings bring together a range of people from all areas of the healthcare system, often over 100 people at a time. Topics of key importance are discussed with everyone, including consumers, given opportunities to have their views heard.
