The first three modules of our new on-demand training for health staff are now available online. The training is designed to support staff in building successful and sustainable partnerships with consumers. Each module is self-paced can be completed at any time, offering flexibility to busy staff. Modules now available are:
Staff Foundations of Consumer Partnerships
- The basics of the why and how of partnering
- Approximately 2 hours to complete
Recruiting Consumers
- A breakdown of key considerations for health staff when recruiting consumers, including how to create an effective EOI for consumer positions
- Approximately 1 hour to complete
Active Listening
- Seven skills in active listening to improve communication in partnership activities
- Microlearning – 10 minutes to complete
More modules will be released in coming months.
